Anderson Rodrigues da Silva
Anderson Rodrigues da Silva is artistic director of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Aguascalientes and the Orquesta Aguascalientes Esperanza Azteca Bonaterra. He is a member of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Aguascalientes and serves as faculty at the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, where he directs the Trombón Studio UAA.
He has conducted ensembles in both Mexico and Brazil, including the Orchestra and Choir of the Escola de Música Bsb Musical, as well as trombone choirs at the Escola de Música de Brasília and the Universidade de Brasília. He has also been a guest conductor of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Aguascalientes, the Orquesta de Cámara del Estado de Zacatecas, the Comunidad de Orquestas Municipales de Aguascalientes, and the Big Band Oficial Aguascalientes. In 2025 he took part as conductor in the prestigious TROMBONTEPEC festival, held in the city of Aguascalientes.
He studied conducting with Dr. David Junker and Dr. Edson Carvalho at the Universidade de Brasília (Brazil). He completed a Master's in Musical Performance at Université Laval (Canada), and holds a doctorate in Educational Sciences.
